Ten things I won't miss about Australia

1. The giant cockroaches
2. The other bugs that have decided to take up residence with us: fruit flies, pantry moths and ants
3. The confusion caused by July being a "Winter month"
4. Doing complex math to determine what time it is in New York right now
5. Australian fashion
6. Renting (maybe we can finally buy a house!)
7. Hesitating to do anything around the house since "we will be moving soon"
8. Did I mention the giant cockroaches?
9. Flooding in the basement storage area
10. The evil appliances in the kitchen: a stove that only works on convection, a cooktop that only has one burner worth using, and a dishwasher that would really prefer to not get the dishes clean, thank you very much.
