Meat in Pastry: a work in progress
(reminiscent of a dish Annie made when we were still on Bowen Street)Mince (not beef, maybe mixed pork and veal? With some chicken?)
Sauteed onion
Raisins, chopped
Herbs (thyme? rosemary?)
Salt (or salt source like Worcester sauce)
Put into pastry and baked. It tasted meaty but sweet, therefore I'm thinking pork. The meat was loose and crumbly, not packed like a meatloaf. Therefore it was probably cooked before being put in the pastry.
